The K3P method in the riding school
The riding school is built on the K3P method I have been developing for over ten years: communication, trust, respect — and only then obedience. Instead of forcing the horse, we learn to speak its language. The result is a horse that cooperates because it understands and trusts, and a rider who knows what they are doing and why.

The ranch sits in Pušća on the western side of Zagreb, right by the road to Zaprešić — close enough for a lesson to fit into half a day, far enough out of town for the horses to work in peace. Most riders come from Zagreb and the surrounding towns.

Frequently asked questions
How far is the riding school from Zagreb?
Black Horse Ranch is in Pušća near Zaprešić, roughly a 30-minute drive from central Zagreb. Parking is next to the arena.
Do I need my own horse?
No. We use the ranch horses for lessons. If you have your own horse, we can work with it — just arrange it in advance.
What age can you start at?
I work with children from about eight years old and with adults of any age. The pace is individual, because the lessons are individual.
What should I wear for a first lesson?
Long trousers, sturdy shoes with a small heel, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. A helmet is provided at the ranch.
How much does the riding school cost?
The riding school costs €350 for a package of 10 hours (€35 per hour). An online video lesson is €25 (launch price, normally €50).
