Horse riding in Zagreb and around
Black Horse Ranch in Pušća near Zaprešić is about a 30-minute drive from the centre of Zagreb. I work one-to-one, with the focus on understanding the horse — from the first touch on the ground to riding on your own. You do not need a horse of your own.

Where we are
Black Horse Ranch, Pušća (near Zaprešić). From Zagreb you come by motorway towards Zaprešić or by the old road via Podsused — on average a 30-minute drive from the city centre. There is parking at the ranch, and sessions take place in the outdoor arena and on the surrounding trails.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need my own horse?
- No. You work with the ranch horses. If you do have a horse, you can bring it along or train online.
- From what age can children come?
- From about eight years old, with a parent present. Younger children can come to meet a horse without riding.
- What should I wear?
- Long trousers and sturdy shoes with a small heel. A helmet and the rest of the equipment are provided at the ranch.
- How long is a session?
- Around 60 minutes, including preparing the horse and a talk afterwards.
- What does it cost?
- An in-person session is €50 (launch price, normally €100), an online session €25 (normally €50).
- Do you train in winter?
- Yes. Sessions run all year round, except in heavy rain, ice or storm-force wind.
