Trail riding preparation: price and the 10-hour package

Trail riding preparation at Black Horse Ranch costs €350 for a 10-hour package, or €35 per hour. The package includes a ranch horse, tack, a loan helmet and individual work. If you would like to work with your own horse, we arrange this in advance.

I guide you from groundwork and meeting the horse to balance, halting and steering in the saddle. I teach you to recognise tension and respond with calm, clear communication. I gradually introduce different surfaces and new situations according to your readiness.

Why a package? Continuity allows me to follow your progress and adapt the next session. We do not train for ten hours in one go: we arrange sessions to suit you and the horse.

Completing the package does not automatically make you ready for every trail. I assess readiness individually, according to the rider’s experience, the horse’s behaviour and the conditions. Guided trail rides are a separate service led by Tom and Davor.
